Service for an estimate to remove the existing water heater which is 55†tall and 20†wide. Current water heater is natural gas, 50 gallon and 40,000 btu and the customer states that it keeps up with the demand. With the new install we would set the new water heater in a pan and set the pan on block. Would install two new shut off valves, new gas valve, expansion tank and die electric unions. Recommend installing the Bradford white “vitraglas lined†water heater with the easy light pilot. Also recommend installing the extended warranty on the water heater which boosts the tank warranty from 6 to 10 years. 10-12-21 return trip to install new 50 gallon natural gas hot water heater. Drains down the old unit, cut out the old water lines and gas lines. Removed and disposed of the old water heater. Set down a pan, and set the new water heater. Repiped both the inlet and outlet water lines to the water heater and connected to the tank using die electric unions. Repiped the inlet gas
