Customer not in store at service. Unit is a2003 5 ton and has multiple problems including open winding on compressor. Customer would like a quote sent to her for replacement.
Came out to job. Client is renting home. Unit is not cooling due to being out of refrigerant completely. Found leak on joint where lines meet inside. Joint inside was not soldered but screwed in. Unit needs refrigerant fillup and joint tightened and indoor is old and has gunk all in blower motor and wheel causing air flow to take a major hit and not get any air into rooms. Need to clean blower wheel and get new motor to get more air into rooms. Unit not cooling on departure.
Arrived on no heat call found bug had shorted out start relay, on heatstrips. Causing unit not to heat proper I replaced start relay and checked operation
Maintenance was done on a 8-10 Year Old 12 SEER American Standard furnace with R-22 refrigerant. Performed regular maintenance (tune up), cleaned and safety checked.
