Kashun was very polite and very thorough. He was very professional, on time, and updated me on the condition of my unit and future repairs.
Everything in this tuneup service was done professionally and Jason Garner answered all my questions. He did a great job in servicing my HVAC unit.
Above the call of duty.
Someone left the run cap to the blower, down and it grounded against the frame of the blower. customer paid with check 39.00
Performed single system tune up. I checked all electrical components on indoor unit and found no issues. I did notice that the indoor unit currently has no protection against flooding and causing ceiling damage. I’ve built up an estimate for customer to review on adding primary in-line float switch and secondary float switch to prevent any future damage. Upon cycling system through cooling I noticed the outdoor unit not running but contactor was pulled in. I walked customer through the reason why and we had a bad capacitor. I replaced capacitor and system fired up like it should. Checked amperage’s and pressures and system is functioning properly upon departure. Items that are mandatory to get and keep system running. Items that will need to be addressed soon. System Enhancements will make a major difference to the life, performance and air quality of your HVAC system.
I arrived today on a maintenance tuneup checked everything on the indoor and the outdoor system to make sure that everything was clean up and working properly I did come across that the UV bulb is burned out and needed to be replaced as well as the battery cap on the blower wheel was bad and needed to be replaced so I’ll talk to the customer and we decided to replace both of those items.
Arrived on call to perform inspection, cycled system checked all components refrigerant, wiring, amps, motor controllers, motors, and cleaned/flushed outdoor coils and drains. Furnace showing age in all areas due to normal wear and tear, found busted seal on blower motor, not over amping now but will need to be replaced in future.
Upon arrival found malfunctioning capacitor, replaced. Equipment operating upon departure
Came out to job. Unit not running. Secondary motor controller was bad and had tripped sensor causing unit to not send voltage. Replaced sec motor controller and reset sensor and unit is running and cooling on departure.
Customer notated that a prior tech. Was out and told him the heat strips where bad , they are,I turned them off and now it’s cooling, will have to order heat strips and come back to replace them. Customer is retired will be home if we call ahead.
Completed maintenance, customer did NOT renew plan. Paid for filter.
