Performed heating tuneup on American Standard heat pump system. During heating evaluation I found mildew forming at interior cabinet affecting indoor air. Also at outdoor unit I found wear & tear to starter and could interrupt operations. After presenting options to improve system client has decided to move forward. We will be replacing starter, adding start assist and surge protection to help prolong and protect the life of HVAC system. At indoor air handler we will be installing stage 3 of our BREATH EASY package to improve indoor air. Please see tuneup checklist for actual values. System is operational.
