Performed Gold ESA Summer Maintenance on upstairs and downstairs Geotherm units. I checked coils, filters, amp draws on motors and compressors. Checked capacitors, thermostats. Checked 410A pressures. Units are operating properly at this time.
Performed ESA platinum maintenance on split system heat pump. I found the condenser fan motor pulling .53 amps and it is only rated for .5 amps. The motor needs replaced.
Performed ESA platinum maintenance on Gas Pack. Unit is operating properly at this time.
Performed check on Trane gas pack and found a bad control board and a cracked heat exchanger. Also the burners are rusted and not working correctly. We could not keep the unit running long enough to look for further component problems. Customer would prefer to receive a copy of report and invoice by physical mail.
Checked gas logs pilot. I found the chimney damper was open and these are unvented logs. I checked the operation after closing chimney damper and cleaning of the burner. Unit is operating properly at this time.
Diagnosed unit only had two of the three burners running. Cleaned burner assembly, flame sensor, and igniter. Unit is operating properly at this time.
Completed installation of new unit and mini split and gas logs.
Wired up thermostat, air handler and condenser. Checkedpressures and operation in heat and cool. Unit is operating properly at this time.
