The tech called to see if they could come early which was perfect for me. The error was caused by a clogged drain line and the tech showed me how to clear the blockage in case it happened again in the future. He was very courteous and kept the work area clean

I completed diagnostic services and found blown outdoor capacitor. The client is aware that after replacing the capacitor we could find more issues and there would be no refund on capacitor once installed. The client has a home warranty and will call them.
I completed diagnostics and found the system has multiple issues. Blower motor is squealing while running and had failing bearings. the fan capacitor is slightly out of specs. I checked the refrigerant charge and found it a little low but the high side is elevated which could be due to a dirty coil. The outdoor compressor is grinding which isn't a good sign as well. The fan motor over heated and shut off while diagnosing system. The circuit board has water on it from the dripping evap coil caused by freezing. The circuit board will send 120v to the fan motor and stop randomly. I explained the options to the customer repair / replace. The system is operational upon departure.

I completed diagnostics and found the the client had a power surge a few days ago which took out the transformer. The system may have other issues after replacing the transformer. I explained the options of replacing the parts / replace the furnace. The client will have Tom his maintenance guy take care of it.

Clients ac works fine. His master bedroom is above the garage and has the sun beaming on it all day. Vents really don’t have any airflow. Not much we can do but install a mini split for the room. Client will try other things at this time.

I completed the diagnostics and found the system is froze due to a faulty TXV. I confirmed with Sr. Tech Greg. I gave the customer the options to replace TXV or replace system or ac. the client would rather invest in a new system.

I completed diagnostic on the air flow to this specific room and found there to possibly be an ants nest somewhere. I found dead ants in the venting. I suspect the venting either has an ants nest or the vent was never connected.
