In Chandler Arizona, I completed a scheduled heating maintenance on a Rheem split heat pump. I checked temperatures airflow amp draws of motors cleared and flushed drain pan and drain lines, checked capacitors, inspected coils and motors. Checked refrigerant charge. The out door fan motor was found to be drawing excessive amp at 1.15a of a max load of 1.0a. this motor has been over amping for a few inspections. We have just continued to monitor the motor. The unit is functioning at this time.
