Customer stated that supply duct to bathroom was leaking and had water in it. Found approximately 6 foot section of exposed duct on the roof with running seem that had never been sealed. Sealed entire duct run all seems joints and elbows with elastomeric sealant.
Return to install new grill upon arrival found new grill is still not correct size and interferes with crown molding will have to return with proper grill
Upon arrival customer stated she would like to remodel upstairs bathroom by removing tub, surround, and fixtures. Would like to replace with a deeper tub and new black fixtures. Due to specific instructions request would take a couple days to acquire all parts.
Replaced communicating thermostat under warranty. Outdoor temp on screen is closer to actual outside temp now, explained to homeowner to give it sometime to calibrate itself but it if doesn’t for him to call in so we can call to order the outdoor thermistor. Also installed a flood switch in the secondary pan in the attic. Tested system operations. System is operational and heating at this time
Performed tuneup on hydronic system. All checks are within specifications and maintenances performed. System is operational at this time. Notice secondary pan is rusted.
Remove existing equipment and haul away. Install new Trane XL18/XV80 16 SEER AC/80% furnace (Two Stage, variable speed blower motor) . Install new electrical disconnect and fuse box with properly sized fuses. Weatherize whip from outdoor unit to exterior wall. Install new 7/8 lineset and pressure check When connecting new equipment. Install new secondary condensate pan and add condensate safety switch. Install new return plenum and re-connect main hallway return and master bedroom return. Replace existing 1 stage control board with new Honeywell 2 stage control board. Install new Echo Bee or Nest Thermostats to upstairs and downstairs zoned areas. Install MERV 13 5†filter cabinet placed in attic . Remove all supply registers and seal boots to drywall. Install new hi flo supply registers in all areas of home. Removed washer and dryer. Opened wall and replaced old galvanized and ran new brass piping. Ran water to laundry sink and installed new laundry box. Also installed customer supplied laundry sink with new angle stops. Replaced angle stops under kitchen sink. Tested by running water, tested well no evident leaks.

Upon arrival system was operational. Homeowner has been having problems with thermostat displaying wrong outside temperature. Generally doesn’t cause problems however the system comfort masters installed is a self communicating gas/electric carrier system which improper outside temp c1n possibly effect the load 9n the furnace. Took pictures of the outdoor units model and serial numbers as well as the model and serial numbers of the thermostat so we can come back to replace it under warranty. Homeowner would also like to go ahead with adding a flood switch in secondary pan. Homeowner is not in a rush for us to get it done and knows with the weather we are busy so we will return when we get a chance. Homeowner also would like for me to be his permanent technician. They like to have only 1 tech coming into their home. System is operational and heating at this time
Found blower not coming on unit is 20 years old closet, replaced blower capacitor to get fan to operating till install. Put pressure on board to get fan to operate ,no charge today Replacing unit and ductwork the 28-29
Performed fall maintenance on furnace. Tstat properly calls for heat. Air filter recently replaced. Performed safety inspection no gas leaks, checked electrical connections, heat exchanger shows wear and thermal stress points but no visible breaks. Pulled and cleaned ignition components, burners, orfices and flame sensor. Hot surface igniter ohms within spec at 79, taped wires which were chewed by rodents exposing high voltage. Blower motor fla 3.3A. Inducer draft motor fla .8/1.4fla. Secondary pan shows previous water damage. Replaced Single Run Capacitor for blower motor reading below tolerance.
**Joined Sidekick Maintenance Program 1yr** Installed new Primary control Board and Hot Surface Igniter, cycled system and heater working as it should. PLEASE SCHEDULE SIDEKICK VISIT NEXT FALL SEPTEMBER OR OCTOBER
