We were impressed with Chris on his first visit. He knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, easy to talk to. He has brought to our attention additional services available, always in a professional manner, never pushy. Be are quite pleased with our service.
Everything was fine, Except-- I was assured that I would be given the estimate of cost for the repair prior to the repairs being conducted.. This was not the case. The serviceman checked out the unit, went to his truck, returned with a small box somewhat concealed in his hand on the opposite side of his body from my view (I noticed it as his arm swung back from his body while walking) went back to the unit and apparently repaired with whatever was in the box. He then told me that the repair was the "blower starter" and then gave me the cost of the repair. I was not shown the faulty part he apparently exchanged. To remedy this I would suggest showing the customer what the part used to repair prior to installing it and also be shown the faulty part after the exchange. I had thought it might be a simple item such as a fuse, etc. but as I am not a AC repairman, I would have appreciated an up front estimate of charges prior to installation. Fortunately, I was able to pay the charge, but as a person on a fixed income that might not always be the case. This is not downgrade for the person doing the job but only the process employed in the repair.
