Came out to call. I was out to do the maintenance recently on the units. Customer said East unit had stopped working and was making a noise. I checked system over and found the system had locked itself out. I reset condenser and cooled down the compressor. System came back on but was freezing up quickly. I checked equipment in attic and found the variable speed motor not ramping up like its supposed to and was barely blowing any air. I reset module plugs and cycled it on again. Motor started and was operating properly. Discussed with customer about the module on the motor possibly malfunctioning, but it was operating after I reset the plugs. We talked over options, and customer wants to wait and see how it operates over the weekend. I will keep ticket open and have the model number on file in case I need to order it. Return to install previously recommended ecm motor replacement recommended by Isaac. Install new motor tested amp draw and verified motor is ramping up to correct speed.
