I arrived for a blue member no heat call. I first inspected the system and found the heat pump to have a refrigerant leak at the outdoor system. This was locking the compressor out and preventing the system from running. The condenser fan motor is also showing signs of overheating and the motor is over amping. I recommend to replace the outdoor system to avoid future breakdowns with this system. We discussed the differences in all systems and we decided to install a two stage as/heat pump. This outdoor system will come with a 10 year parts warranty and a one year labor warranty. We will clean up the wiring inside the furnace cabinet and in the thermostat housing. We will also replace the thermostat so that we can control the system in all modes.
