Performed preventative maintenance on AC system for customer. Customer stated that he already changed the filters and that he hasn’t had any issues since the last time we were out to check the system. I inspected the blower assembly, motor, electrical components, evaporator coil, drains and overall condition and operation of equipment in attic. Evaporator coil has significant rust in some parts. Recommended a pan treatment to help keep drain clean from build up. Customer approved, so I put a pan treatment in coil area. I cleaned the condenser coil thoroughly. Checked thermostat operation, wiring, capacitor, contactor, compressor, fan motor, amps, temperatures and pressures of condenser. Capacitors were reading out of tolerance range and the system was a little low on refrigerant. I discussed with customer about the repairs needed and made suggestions based on the situation.
