Came out to perform preventative maintenance on heat pump system. Customer had the home built in 2018 and hasn’t had the system maintenance since it was built. Customer has taken care of filters and cleaned the outside unit off. I started my inspection with the equipment in the attic. Inspected ductwork, evaporator coil, blower assembly, motor, electrical components, heating elements and overall condition of equipment. Checked operation, amps, and temperatures of heating elements. Asked customer about any hot or cold spots in the home and he did state that the two rooms at the front of the home are opposite of each other. One gets too much air and one doesn’t get enough. I found the ductwork has dampers, so I was able to damper the guest bedroom down a bit. The office damper was completely closed. Opened damper completely and had customer check airflow to see if felt a difference and he did. The return duct work is undersized for the system about 45%. Due to the layout of the home, we
