Performed preventative maintenance on AC system. Changed out filter for customer. Inspected blower assembly, motor, electrical components, evaporator coil, drain and overall condition of equipment in utility room. Blower could use cleaning in the near future. Cleaned condenser coil thoroughly. I inspected the condenser coils, contactor, capacitor, compressor, fan motor and operation of condenser. Capacitor was reading below manufactured rating. It’s rated for 40 for the compressor and was at 30. Recommended it be changed to prevent the breakdown from happening in the summer. Customer had me change it out under warranty. Checked amps, temperatures and pressures of condenser as well. System is cooling properly within manufactured specifications at this time.
