I arrived for non member no cool call. I first spoke with the homeowner and found the issue to be the outdoor unit to not be running. I inspected the outdoor system and found the compressor and condenser fan motor to be overheated. I also found the condenser coil to be completely stopped up and the capacitor to have failed. I then installed the indoor unit and found the the evaporator coil to be dirty. I recommend to replace the capacitor and clean the evap coil. We decided to replace the capacitor and add a hard start kit to the condenser. I cleaned the conditioner and cycled the system on. I found the super heat to be running at 12 deg. The system calls for 14 deg super heat. This system is runs to the best of of its abilities at this time.
