I arrived for a silver member ac pm. I first spoke with the homeowner and the only other issue as they wanted the heating checked out for winter. I first inspected the heater and found no issues with its operation at this time. I then inspected the ac and found the condenser coil to be stopped up. I cleaned the condenser coil and all electrical components and found the capacitor to be weak and out of manufacture range of operation. I also found the contactor to be starting to blacken and pit. I made all issues aware to the homeowner and we decided to replace the capacitor at this time and we are planning on replacing the contactor on next summer tune up. I checked the systems refrigerant charge but the out door temp was 63 deg. The subcooling at this time was 9.1 deg. I found no other issues with this system at this time. I preformed both heating and cooling pms at this time.
