Blue Shield plan AC service. Spoke with customer and we will be cleaning and tuning up the upstairs system, as the downstairs system is serviced by another company. Asked about filters and how system has been cooling since we replaced a variable speed motor on the furnace. It has been doing well. Checked filters and changed with fresh 14x25x1 included with blue shield plan. Washed condenser and cleared area if spider webs. Checked fuses, capacitor and contactor. Cleaned contactor connection points and capacitor. Capacitor is reading 32.9/35 and 4.8/5 microfarads. This puts it in range, but just barely on the compressor side. Checked evaporator coil, drain line and blower. Cleaned built up dust off return grill and mildew buildup in drain line. Coil looks to be draining well at this time. Cycled system on and checked amps and delta t from return to bathroom supply. System is running in manufacturer specs at this time.
