Came out to call for a second look at a system we’ve been out to a couple of times. Customer stated that the system wasn’t cooling properly and would shut off and not come back on. We recently were out and found no issues with how the system was operating, but we replaced a fuse. I found the low voltage fuse blown again. So replaced the fuse and I went through the wiring and tested system operation. Fuse didn’t blow, but I had a hunch that the low voltage was being tampered with given there was mouse droppings present. I checked the two wire out at the condenser unit and found a decent sized mouse nest in the electrical panel of the AC system. Under its nest I found the 24v wiring chewed to shreds. Showed customer and explained what had happened and how to fix it. I fixed the 24 volt wiring, removed the nest and cycled unit back on. System was cooling properly within manufactured specifications at this time. Recommended customer change filters more often as well. He bought 3 filt
