Came out to call for system still not heating properly. I was out yesterday to replace a failed inducer motor. I checked system over and found the thermostat set at 72 and it was reading 69 in the home. Thermostat was calling for heat, but the furnace wasn’t on. I jumped the wires at the thermostat and the heater came on with no issues. I put the thermostat back on the wall and tried it again, and the furnace came on with the call from the thermostat. I noticed that the thermostat doesn’t clip in all the way, and could be causing the thermostat to malfunction by not making good connection. I was able to fix the issue. If it happens again, I recommended customer have us out to replace thermostat.
