I arrived for a non member no cool call. I first spoke with the homeowner and found he main issue is that the system runs but cools better at night. I first inspected the system located in the attic and found the evaporator coil to be clean but rusted. I also found the filter to be new and in good condition. I found the DT to be at 8 deg. I inspected the condenser and found all electrical components to be in working condition. I checked the systems refrigerant charge and found the superheat to be running at 32 deg and the system calls for 10 deg. I made this aware to the homeowner and suggested to preform a leak searching at this time. We decided to just add refegerant and get the system cooling per manufacture specifications at this time. I added 1 LbS 14 OZ of R22 to the system and set the superheat within the - / + 2 deg of the systems 10 deg superheat specifications. I rechecked the systems DT and found it to be running at 14 deg. Overall this system is running to the best of its a
