I arrived for a silver member no heat call. I first spoke with the homeowner and found that the system started running about 4am. I then inspected the system and found the that the furnace is a 90% fuse and that both secondary drains were frozen. I removed the drain from the induced draft motor and ran hot water through the drain to clear it. I also poured hot water into the main drain to clear the drain line. I emptied a gallon of hot water into the drain and for no issues with the drain clogging up at this time. I suggest to let us come back and install heat tape on the drain line once we get some heat tape back in stock. This system is running at his time. I made the home aware that they need to keep a eye on the systems to check if it’s starting to freeze up.
