I arrived for a new customer no cool call. I spoke with the homeowner and found that the system was frozen over. I found the evaporator coil to be completely frozen over. I cycled the furnace on and melted the ice. I then checked the system and found it to be clean but rusted. I found the filter to be completely stopped up. The system is running low on refrigerant at this time. I recommended to preform a leak search to find the leaking component. The homeowner declined the lease search. I added 11OZ of R410A and set the systems superheat heat at 4.2 deg and the set point was 6.1. This system is running to the best of its abilities at this time.
