Blue SPP ac maintenance. Asked about filters, hot and cold spots, condensate line, hot water tank and dryer vent from previous visits. Customer just changed filters at beginning of month. Customer mentioned the condensate line had a small drip, likely from condensation from cold water running out. Also mentioned new puppy had chewed on outside insulation on line set. Will replace 8†of armaflex insulation. Washed condenser thoroughly, inspect dual capacitor and fan side is still within range at 4.28 mfd, but will likely need to be replaced next year. Cycled system in and checked refrigerant pressure via delta t and amps. Checked outside surge protector. Went inside and checked blower and evap coil, amp draws and condensate line. Checked float switch and watched water flowing properly from evap coil into drain. Found a small piece of debris that was causing main condensate drain to possibly run higher than intended. Removed obstruction and verified proper water flow.
