Ray F 8/1/22 Arrived to a new customer no cool service call and the customer met me at the front door. I introduced myself and asked what ac problems she was experiencing today. Kathy informed me that the air stopped working over the weekend and showed me where the equipment was located. We turned the ac on at the thermostat and went to inspect the condenser. We found the condenser not operating. Entered the attic and found the drain pan full of water and the emergency float switch tripped. Quoted Kathy pricing to remove the water from the pan and to cut and clear the pvc condensate drain line as it is clogged. She approved and I used a shop vac to remove the water from the drain pan and I cut, cleared the line with nitrogen and coupled the pvc drain line back together. Inspected the system after the repairs and found it to be working properly. The refrigerant charge is normal. Contactor, wiring and disconnect are in good condition.
