I arrived for a warranty call on a system we installed. I spoke with the tenant and found that the system is cooling now but it did get up to 80 deg. I checked the systems and found it to be running properly and the refrigerant charge to be set at 15/16 deg. The room where the thermostat is located has the worst air flow in the house. All rooms are getting anywhere from 380-580 FPM for air flow. The two supply ducts are getting somewhere less than 100-120 FPM of air flow. The tenant wants the temperature in the house to get to 65 deg and the thermostat is holding at 70 deg at this time. I did find the transition from the furnace to the plenum has a hole in the back of the plenum and this is bringing in attic air. We will be in contact with the tenant to schedule to come back and fix the plenum transition.
