I arrived for a no cool call. I first spoke with the homeowner and found that the system freezes up. I inspected the indoor system and found the evaporator coil to be covered in oil. I made this issue aware to the homeowner and we discussed what it would take to replace this evaporator coil with R-22 refrigerant. I recommended to have the condenser replaced with the evaporator coil to gain the benefits of the new system refrigerant and warranty. I gave the homeowner options on replacing the evaporator, replacement of the condenser with the evaporator and replacing the condenser, furnace and a free evaporator coil. The system will come with a 10 year warranty. If you have any questions please contact me. Jake Kring.
