Blue shield protection plan summer AC tune up. Asked about filters and how home has been cooling. Changed filters, which had become pretty plugged up, tested thermostat function and home has been cooling well. Washed Lennox condenser thoroughly, there has been a lot of home building in the neighborhood and the coils were backed up with dirt from it blowing in the air. Checked contactor and dual capacitor. Dual cap fan side is reading slightly low at 4.5 out of 5 mfd. checked blower, blower wheel, evap coil, and drain line. Primary drain line is clear at this time with no recent signs of water backing up into pan. Checked amp draws inside delta t and refrigerant pressure. System is running well at this time. Spoke with customer about the fan side capacitor and they want to wait until next ac tune up to possibly have it replaced.
