I arrived for a non member cool call. I inspected the system and found the condenser to be completely stopped up and the system to be running extremely hot. I made this aware to to the homeowner and we decided to clean the system and see what else the system needs after that. I cut tree limbs and weeded around the condenser. I then took the conditioner apart and pressure washed it clean and removed all debris from the condenser. I then reassembled the condenser and checked the systems refrigerant charge and found it to be running at 35 deg superheat. I made this aware to he homeowner and we due to top off the systems charge up to one pound of 410A. I set the systems superheat at 8 deg and left the system running at this time. I also removed the filter due to it being completely stopped up and undersized.
