Came out to a call for a AC unit not cooling properly. Customer stated that the AC unit was coming on but inside was not cool. The temperature in the home was set to 73° but the thermostat was reading 78. I checked system over and found the capacitor bad and the hard start kit blown. I showed customer pictures of the bad parts and what I recommended to be repaired. I also made customer aware that the system is getting older and the units condition is rough. Customer is aware that the unit is old but just wanted to make repairs today. I replaced the capacitor and hard start kit on the system. Cycled unit on and checked AC operation. System is now cooling properly at this time.
