Cleared restriction from drain line that caused water to back up and trip the overflow safety switch.
Trane split AC, serves the upstairs. Tested system at arrival and found that the thermostat has failed. The thermostat would not provide voltage to the outdoor unit for it to run when calling for ac. Replaced the thermostat and tested. System is now running and cooling very well. Attached a quote for our HVAC Protection Pledge to clean and maintain both systems for best performance.
Trane split heat pump for the upstairs. At arrival, found that the outdoor fan would not start. Upon inspection, found that one of the main wires that supplies power to the fan was disconnected. Connected the wife back securely and tested and system is now up and running. Tested operate and all components check well. System is now cooling properly. Downstairs thermostat split heat pump. Found system slightly low on refrigerant causing the system to freeze over and not cool properly. Also found that the contactor in the outdoor unit had failed and was sticking, causkng the outdoor unit to run nonstop even when thermostat wasn't calling for ac or heat. Replaced the contactor and quoted customer for the refrigerant recharge. Customer agreed and I recharged with refrigerant. Also added leak sealant as a precaution.
Lennox furnace coil and ac. Whole house system, two zones. At arrival, found that the unit would start and stop repeatedly. Found that the issue was with a failed DATS sensor. Replaced the sensor with a truck stock temperature sensor and tested. System is now working properly and cooling great.
Trane heat pump split, whole house system. At arrival, found failed condenser fan motor and capacitor. Quoted price to replace motor and customer agreed. Replaced the motor and capacitor and tested operation. System is now cooling very well.
