When I called to request replacing a through-the-roof attic fan I was told you could do it, and often had the parts on the truck. When the technician arrived he said we needed a roofer--and proceeded to disconnect two wires from the thermostat with the expectation we'd then get a roofer. For this challenging job of snipping two wires (he didn't even undo the wire nuts but just snipped the wires) we were charged 156 dollars. The clincher? You could come back and attach two wires for another 156 dollars when the roofer is done. I recognize you have real fixed costs but those charges are completely unrealistic for the service you actually provided. You have lost our confidence. Please cancel the air conditioning service we have scheduled with you on August 28th.
