It was exciting to get my new Carrier heat pump installed by Jackson & Sons. Juan & Shane did the install and were an outstanding team demonstrating great competence, expertise and efficiency. Juan & Shane were both so friendly and courteous and took time to answer all of my questions and made the whole experience awesome. I am pleased with this new system already and I am confident that Jackson & Sons will keep it running perfectly for me.

After quickly sending me an awesome technician Matthew, I also had the great experience of meeting his field supervisor Bryce who came & together they found the best solution for my heat pump issues. I am so thankful to find such an awesome friendly & caring company to take care of my heating & cooling needs. I called for the first time & everyone on the phone was so courteous & eager to help me. They responded quickly & sent out an awesome technician, Matthew. He was so thorough and took time to carefully explain all of his findings to me, and worked diligently to provide solutions to all of my heat pump issues. Upon arrival tech was informed system was not heating. Inspected system and found the condenser not coming on due to a piece of wood wedged between the condenser fan blade and the shroud keeping the fan from spinning. Tech removed debris from system and everything came on. Checked amp draws and found the condenser fan motor rated at .64amps pulling .75amps. Customer wants to wait on replacing, emailed estimate for repair. System is back operational at this time.
Tech arrived to perform service and found fault code for low refrigerant. Tech leak searched system and found no leaks at this time. Whip tech was checking system operation in heat mode tech found condenser pumping down. Tech checked eev and sensors attached and found that steeper motor, transducer and suction line Temperature sensor need to be replaced after diagnosing parts failed, tech verified warranty with office and received estimate for repairs. Tech left power off to condenser to prevent any further damage to system. System still has heat from heat strips. Tech did not complete maintenance due to failed system and will need to complete maintenance after repairs have been made. Customer approved repairs need to order parts and schedule to return and complete repair. Transducer is brazed in and will have to recover and refill systems to complete repair. To complete maintenance coils and unit need to be washed.
Tech performed preventative maintenance and serviced system. Customer mentioned power outages causing issues with thermostat. Tech recommended installing surge protectors on disconnects. Customer didn’t invest at this time but is interested in the future. System is up and running with a delta t of 19.
Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time. Unit is up and heating with a delta t of 23. Customer extended psa 1 sys 2 times a year.
Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time. Tech recommended plasma air to improve air quality and help prevent dust and mildew build up. Customer would like to wait for now. Unit is up and heating and cooling properly at this time.
Rebuilt both toilets with fill valves flappers and tank to boul gaskets. Customer is going to replace her bathroom faucets with us after she orders new ones.
On arrival, ignition control was flashing a 2 flash error for 1 hour lockout. Tech found orange ignitor wire unplugged from ignition control board. Turned power off and ensured all plugs and wires are secure. Started heat back up and verified LP gas pressure. Low stage is 5.5" wc. High stage is 9.85" wc. Service warranty.
Tech performed services on (2) trane package units. Tech recommended (3) media filters. Customer declined As tech was megohm compressor, found it to be yellow then follow to green. Recommend hard start. Customer declined. Found outdoor blower to be dirty, recommend plasma air for excessive bacteria growth. Delta t is within specification. All ok at this time. Found no other challenges at todays visit.

Tech performed ESA on one system, tech did not find any issues with system at todays visit. System is still very new and in excellent condition. Customer renewed one system ESA.
Replace 4 Ton AC Condensing Unit With New Goodman 4 Ton AC Condensing Unit
Customer not present spoke with her on the phone gave replacement cost and repair cost. Has to speak with husband
Previously documented that compressor showed signs of failure. Breaker tripped upon arrival. Reset breaker and tripped instantly. Found compressor is shorted to ground. Handed over to field supervisor to provide a solution.
Tech washed and serviced units and found compressor capacitor testing weak tech notified customer and would like to wait.
