Performed a clean and check on the ac and the gas furnace upon arrival found the blower was out of balance and shut the system down inspected blower motor and wheel found a piece of cloth stuck in the blower wheel which I removed also noted thermostat wiring was hitting the furnace cabinet which I secured once I corrected this I restarted the system which was operating correctly after adjustment tested and inspected electrical components and controls on ac system checked charge found a weak capacitor and replaced on the condensing unit condenser coil was clogged with dirt and animal hair rinsed and cleaned ac coil cycled system all operations are now normal on cooling system. Performed check on gas furnace inspected integrity of vent piping and performed a combustion analysis. Checked heat rise and cleaned condensation trap. All operations are normal at this time.
Preformed summer maintenance checked all safety devices system os working with in specifications at this time
Checked out the heating system, found no issues at this time, installed new air filter which the customer supplied, all operations ok at this time.
Found gas off to the cook top stove, turned gas on and purged system until unit worked properly, all operations ok at this time.
Moved duct run for bathroom performed air balancing of system. Moved run from on top of plenum down to truck line. Added dampers to system to properly balance airflow. System still seems to be low on return air. Will see how back room performs with changes made. Everything is operational and working properly at this time.
Furnace was short cycling, quoted 2 new furnace options, current furnace is operational at the moment. Today's charges will come off the new unit.
