Performed clean and check on ac system checked filter which needs to be changed customer plans to replace this them selves checked humidifier pad which was clean and left new pad on site as it's already payed for customer believed mice may be getting into the house through the air handler inspected unit and found no evidence of rodent activity but did point out to the customer that it appears to be coming from a wall at the side of the furnace near exposed insulation. Checked temp drop tested and inspected all electrical components and controls rinsed and cleaned ac coil all operations are normal at this time.
Performed clean and check on Tempstar gas furnace and Aprilaire Humidifier. Performed combustion analysis test, checked blower motor capacitor and blower motor amp draw, took ohm reading from hot surface igniter, measured temperature rise and checked the safety components of the furnace. Cycled furnace in heating mode and checked Humidifier operations. All equipment is operating properly at this time.
Found unit throwing a lot of different codes that may be a sign of the inverter board malfunctioning, also found the unit overcharged with refrigerant, removed some refrigerant to put the unit within specification, cleared the resetable fault codes and instructed the customer to call us if anything happens and we will order the inverter board at that time, all operations ok at this time.
Performed clean and check on heat pump electric furnace and replaced filter inspected humidifier which will not need to be changed all operations are normal at this time.
