The stops under the kitchen sink had failed to turn off when the homeowner attempted to replace his kitchen faucet and his homeowners insurance wanted his rubber washing machine hoses replaced with metal braided ones. We removed the old stops under his sink, and installed 3 new valves (both hot and cold and a 3rd hot for dishwasher), installed the new faucet, and replaced the washing machine hoses. Tested everything with no leaks present at this time.
