Arrived on site to perform an annual tune up on propane boiler. After our initial inspection we provided an estimate to do the work. It was accepted. We started by turning gas and power supply off to the unit to inspect the burners. The pilot tube brass nut was rounded out and we were not able to remove it without risking breaking it. Due to this, we could not fully remove the pilot assembly to remove the burner tubes. We cleaned the burners as best as we could reach. Igniter was also worn. We inspected the heat exchanger and found that it was in really bad shape. It was covered in rust. When we checked gas pressure we found that it was set to 6.9” w.c. The unit needs 11”-14”. Adjusted it at the gas valve and when that stopped increasing the pressure we adjusted it a little more at the regulator outside. We then performed a combustion analysis and checked for CO leaks in the boiler room. No leaks present and analysis showed unit was firing fine. Due to the age and condition of the b
