The upstairs bathroom lavatory had a persistent odor likely caused by debris buildup in the drain. We proposed treating the drain with Thrift to remove any buildup and improve overall cleanliness and odor control. After removing the pop-up assembly, we found minimal debris in the drain line, and further inspection revealed the odor was originating from the overflow passage. Multiple applications of Thrift were used through both the drain and overflow, which significantly reduced the odor, though a slight smell remains from the overflow. We also discussed replacement of the kitchen faucet sprayer hose due to a break in the line. The repair was approved, and a replacement hose has been ordered for installation at a later date. During this visit, the homeowner also expressed concern about a leak in the basement. Upon inspection, we found the leak to be coming from the furnace, which is condensing and leaking water from internal components. Due to the presence of multiple rust spots and th
