For this visit the tenant had concern over frozen pipes for the kitchen sink. Upon arrival the kitchen sink was back operating properly with no leaks present. We went to investigate further and found that the space under the kitchen sink in basement was locked and secluded without access. We were unable to further inspect as for the cause of freezing pipes but the tenant stated the heat was not turned on in basement space, given the extremely cold temperature, isolation of these pipes from heated space and pipes being on exterior wall of building likely lead to pipes freezing. Due to inaccessibility of space, poor insulation is also a concern but could not be confirmed. At this time heat is on within basement space and fixture is running properly.
