Completed heating tune up today. System kept shutting down due to leaving air temperature sensor. Removed it and let the system ramp up fully. This was due to the higher ambient conditions that the system is running under at this time. Placed temperature sensor back in the ductwork. Performed combustion analysis and everything checked out properly. Replaced air filter with one homeowner provided. No gas leaks detected during my visit today. Cleaned furnace cabinet. Performed humidifier tune up and set humidifier for winter season. Inspected heat exchanger. Has some visible thermal stress but no cracks or holes. System operating as expected at this time.
