During my inspection today, the customer greeted me at the front door. They allowed me to come inside and they showed me around all the equipment. They showed me the air filter(s). It was a 16 x 20. They then showed me the thermostat. It was a Aprilair Nonprogrammable. They then showed me the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. I got started by turning the system off at the thermostat and made my way to the air handler. I inspected multiple different components on the system, including the blower wheel/motor, evaporator coil, drain line (flushed drain line with a gallon of hot water and white vinegar), electrical connections/components, etc. I checked all of these components for proper operation and cleanliness. As well as to make sure that nothing was damaged. I made my way to the outdoor unit. On the outdoor unit I inspected multiple different components as well, including electrical connections/components, Condenser fan motor, Compressor, Motor amp draws, Refrigerant pressures(goo

During my inspection today, I found a few things I wanted to bring to the customers attention. First being that the indoor unit was not equipped with a surge protection device. I gave the customer the option to do so, but they did not go with it today. I then found that the drain line was a little bit dirty. I am giving the customer the option to do a drain pan strip to help with this. I am also giving the customer the option to do a dryer vent inspection. Before my inspection today the customer said that the outdoor unit was noisier than normal. When inspecting the system, I did not find anything out of the ordinary, and took a video of the system running. The customer said that she doesn’t hear the noise anymore.

During my inspection today, I only found a couple things that I wanted to bring to the customers attention. These things included a surge protector for the indoor unit seeing as it did not have one , I figured it would be a good idea to put one on the indoor unit because there is already one on the outdoor unit.I also found that the drain line was dirty. Upon my arrival. I cleaned it out per membership, but I will also be giving the customer the option to do a drain pan strip to be proactive in regards of keeping the drain line clean. I will be giving the customer the option to do a dryer vent inspection. I didn’t find anything wrong visually on the outside of the dryer vent but it goes under the crawlspace so I gave the customer this option to allow me to get under the crawlspace and more deeply inspect the dryer vent at this time the system is performing well I cleaned the outdoor unit. And all other information is in my check sheet which I’ve emailed to the customer

. Upon arrival found thermostat set to 70 and it was 80 in the house. Went to indoor unit. Everything was clean. The blower was running. Went to outdoor unit. Had 24 volts for cool. Had no high voltage. Found 30 amp breaker in the sub panel tripped. Turned the breaker back on. System ran good for 45 minutes. The compressor was amping at 10.09. The condenser fan motor was at .57. The contactor is clean and free of pitting. The capacitor checked out good. All wiring is good and tight. The Refrigerant pressures were 125/250. 8.4 degrees of super heat. The breaker has warmer than the other ones. Need to get pricing on 30 amp breaker. Signed the customer up for membership.

Upon arrival customer stated there was a puddle of water under the house. Went into crawl and found condensation line had a 90 busted. Priced it up and got approval, cleaned water out of pipe so it would make good connection and put in a 45° in place. Made sure it was not leaking. System is running good and checked pressures and 5ey are within manufacturing specs.
