Arrive to the customers home and greeted them at the door. Spoke with the customer about the current issue that they were experiencing. Customer showed me location of thermostat with the error code indoor outdoor equipment. Found electric heat working within spec blower amp within spec went to the outdoor unit and found off on low pressure hook gauges and found zero psi over refrigerant Found oil residue all inside the cabinet and on suction piping going to accumulator. Use electronic leak detector and confirmed our pressure equalizing valve has failed and will need to be replaced. Created an estimate for the customer with parts covered with JB labor customers responsible for all shipping And cost of refrigerant. Explain the customer office will call once confirm warranty and availability of part for scheduling put system into emergency heat and disconnect flipped at outdoor unit. Went over estimate with customer, would prefer to wait to be confirmed by office before signing. Added i

Upon arrival pulled filter and showed customer. Explained how the filter works. A regular filter would be 20x18x1. Coil is clean, wires are tight. Blower is clean. Blower amped at .67amps. Cleaned drain line. Went outside, coil is clean, wires are tight. Got a 13° split from outdoor fan and outdoor coil. Pressures are 114psi on suction. System is condensating. Let system run awhile, water is coming out of drain line. System is working good at this time. Will need new outdoor cap for suction line when we come back to service again.
