Indoor attic and basement unit: I first checked cleanliness of both evaporator coils(good). Then the basement unit blower wheel was free of debris but the attic blower wheel needs to be cleaned. I did a leak search on both indoor evaporator coils ( free of leaks), I then took amp draws of both indoor unit (basement 5.41 amps) (attic 3.3 amps) both of these are within manufacturer specifications I checked the drain on both the only problem I seen was on the basement drain line there is a small water leak. The duct work for both units are tight and secured. The filters should be changed more regularly due to the construction the customer has going on in their house. Outdoor units: both outdoor units pressures looked ok ( attic R22 50/157) (basement R410a 102/205). Amp draws were all within manufacturer specifications (attic compressor 4.9 amps and condenser fan.6 amps) ( basement compressor 3.8 amps and .5 amps for the condenser fan). All electrical wiring was tight and the capacitors

Upon inspection found attic system heat pump OFM non operational, upon further inspection found dual run capacitor failed , OFM seals broken and oil leaked out . Replaced dual run capacitor (customer provided) unfortunately sense the customer provided the part this part will not be under warranty. OFM needs to be replace to avoid system failure. Build and presented estimate, customer would like to think about the repair and reach out to us later for it. Cycled system for proper operation System is operating ok at this time but is prone to failure at anytime. Called supply house for part , please see the attached pin note for more info.

All wiring is good and intact at this time. The drain is clear. Went to outdoor unit. The Refrigerant pressures are 150/390. The compressor amped at 7.87. The fan motor amped at .92. Both are within the manufacture specifications. The capacitor checked out in range per manufacture specifications. The contactor is clean and free of pitting. The condenser coil is clean. Inspected all low and high voltage wiring. All wiring is good and tight. Basement furnace Cleaned flame sensor. Put it back. Fired the furnace up. The inducer motor amped within the manufacture specifications. The igniter is in good shape and working properly. The gas pressures were good. The blower motor amp

Upon arrival filters where clean, went to attic, blower is clean, coil is clean. Coil has rust but found no leaks during leak search. Found blower motor not running full speed like it should and shutting down. Need to get blower motor before we can continue to check system. Upon arrival shut power off and pulled blower. Pulled old motor out and put new in place. Wired everything back up and started system. Blower is pulling .6amps. Wires all tight, indoor is running. Went outside, contacter checked out good. Capacitor checked within specs. Refrigerant levels where running at a 16° subcool where unit calls for. Let system run awhile, and system is working good. Explained to customer with both units and the age of them anything can happen but the systems are running g good at this time. Upstairs is set to 74° cooling and is cooling at this time.
