Customer has scheduled part replacement but wanted price for new system. If the part works they will try and make it through the winter then upgrade in spring. If part doesn't they will look at replacement option.

10-year-old Trane propane furnace and 10-year-old heat pump outdoor coil. The outdoor ambient temp was approximately 65 degrees, the indoor dry bulb was 68, the indoor wet bulb was 61, and the relative humidity was 65%. The cool supply air was 50 degrees and the room temperature return air was 66 degrees for a Delta T of 16. Based on the wet and dry bulb and RH readings, this is an excellent supply air temperature. Replaced the extremely dirty air filter with one provided by the customer. Measured Amperes on the air circulation system and its compartment was clean. Verified the indoor coil was clean and the circuit board and wiring were in good condition. Purged the condensation pipe and the water removal system's discharge tube with CO2 and added some descaler to the system to prevent clogs. The refrigerant pumping system's run amps were 12.2 (RLA is 22), the start amps were seven, and the air exhaust system's amps were 1.2 (FLA is 2.8). Confirmed the blades, disconnect, defrost board
