Downstairs Ac is not cooling. Checked inside and outside units, checked electrical components and noticed outside capacitor was blown. Replace (1) 50/5 uf capacitor and unit backed to operation. Also checked the charge and other components and noticed compressor running over hard and over amps. Informed customer regarding the issues and quote him for Repair and options for replacement due to the age and conditions of the system and situation of R22. He will move in 2 years and doesn’t want to spend money on new system.
Performed hsphvac maintenance on ac system. Tstat is operating properly, temp drop 69/45. Air filter, blower assembly and return duct are clean. Controls and wiring at furnace are good. Ac unit is running at proper charge (140/330) and is cooling home efficiently. Compressor a,ps (18.6) , condenser amps (1,12). Blower amps 10.4. Controls and wiring at condenser are good and condenser coil is clean. Explained benefits of adding ez trap switch to condensate drain line then installed ez trap with customer permission. $296 total. System is in good condition, no further problems to report.
Bill H. I pulled and reset the powder room water closet. One year warranty on the reset.
Arrived to residence due to no AC call. Inspected system and noticed the condenser fan was not in operation. Tested capacitor and the fan rating was zero. Installed a 5 mfd capacitor for the fan and system began cooling proper. Thanks for your business

Arrived to speak with and educate customer about evolution user interface. Customer was just more comfortable with old tstat. I explained they would lose all the capabilities they paid for if they got rid of user interface. After discussion, I programmed stat for AUTO mode for customer, they were satisfied with solution. Took pics of basement and attic systems. Replaced fernco coupling on basement exhaust flue pipe pics uploaded. Also wrapped condensate dra8n line in attic to stop line freeze in winter as it has a 90% furnace as well. Took pics of all work performed and uploaded pics. Covered under warranty.
