I replaced the Lennox condenser fan and capacitor in the air conditioner. The system kicked on and I tested the refrigerant and found it to be low. I provided customer with a quote for a leak search although due to age and condition, I recommend replacing system. Customer will let us know how to proceed.
Upon arrival, I found that the York air conditioner was not cooling due to a bad capacitor. Due to age and costly repairs, I recommend replacing the system. Customer will let us know how to proceed.
I arrived to perform a diagnostic on an air conditioner. Upon arrival system was off, turned on an thermostat and compressor kicked on but the condenser fan did not follow, Condenser fan is getting proper voltage and isn't kicking on, Needs condenser fan and capacitor replaced, After fan is replaced then we can run system to make sure there aren't any other underlying issues, Recommend a/c replacement due to age and cost of repairs, Customer isn't interested and wants to move forward with fan replacement, Not operational at departure.
I installed a Five Star 96% 2 Stage Variable Speed 80,000 BTU Gas Furnace 4T 17" and a Five Star 16 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner. I cycled and monitored the systems and they are operational at this time.
I installed a Carrier 80% 70,000 BTU Gas Furnace. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I performed a diagnostic on an AC. Upon arrival system was off, kicked on from t-stat and found compressor motor operational but the fan motor was not. Checked 45/5 dual capacitor and found it has failed, replaced capacitor and system kicked on operational normal. Checked amp draws and both are within range 12.3amp on compressor and .90 on fan motor. Checked refrigerant pressures and it's ok. System operational and cooling at departure.
I performed a diagnostic on an air conditioner. Upon arrival found condenser not operational, after further diagnostic discovered that the single pole contactor has failed and isn't sending voltage through. Replaced contactor and system kicked on, then checked amp draws and refrigerant pressures. All is ok at this time. Went to check furnace and noticed the evap coil leaking water, Pan on evap coil is leaking, needs new evap coil replacement. Recommend system replacement due to age and cost of repairs. System cooling at departure, but it is leaking water in basement. Made customer aware.
After removing the Comfortmaker gas furnace and air conditioner, I installed a Carrier 80% 45,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 13 SEER 2 Ton Air Conditioner. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time. Included with the installation is a free 1 year service maintenance agreement.
I completed a diagnostic call on a Bryant air conditioner. Upon arrival found system low on refrigerant. I performed an electronic leak search and located leak on evap coil. Provided customer with repair and replacement options.
