I completed diagnostic on Carrier 16 SEER 3.5 Ton Air Conditioning Unit. I found Found gap around exhaust pipe where bees were getting in basement. I Sprayed with wasp spray and sealed around pipe. I Made customer aware to get an exterminator out to make sure there isn’t a nest inside. System is operational and cooling at time of my departure.
I performed diagnostic service call on ICP Air Conditioning unit. I determined that system was almost empty on refrigerant. I spoke to customer about repairs/replace options. Customer choose to install new system and is all set for tomorrow. Not operational upon departure.
I performed diagnostic on Lennox Air Conditioning Unit. I determined that condenser fan had failed. I provided customer with repair/replacement options. Customer decided to replace Unit and is all set for next week installation. System not operational at departure.
I performed diagnostic service call on Trane Air Conditioning Unit. I determined that dual capacitor has failed. I replaced Compressor-Motor Surge Capacitor with customers approval. I rinsed off condenser coils then checked refrigerant pressures. All is ok at this time. System operational and cooling at time of my departure.
I provided customer with Estimate for Five Star 96% 2 Stage Variable Speed 60,000 BTU Gas Furnace, Five Star 14 SEER 2.5 Ton Heat Pump, Return Air Drop kit, Media Cabinet, Propane conversion kit and removal of previous Goodman HVAC System.
Diagnostic call on a Lennox air conditioner. Upon arrival customer stated that the system is cooling and satisfying temperature in home, but it is leaking downstairs by furnace. Found condensation drain line is clogged and holding water I took the drain apart and blew out with nitrogen, also put some bleach down drain to clean it out. I then put drain line back together and cycled system in heat and all was ok. System went through heat cycle with no issues, then switched to cool and kicked on with no issues. System operational and cooling at departure.
I performed scheduled maintenance tune-up & safety check on Carrier 16 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioning Unit. I completed checklist. System has high static pressure and recommended installing a media filter cabinet. Customer is not interested at this time. System is operational and cooling at this time.
I performed a diagnostic call on a Lennox air conditioner. Upon arrival system was off, customer had concerns about a burning smell from vents as well as the blower motor just randomly quit working. Turned system on from thermostat and after further diagnostic discovered that the blower motor is over heating and shutting off. Checked capacitor and replaced. System is cooling at departure.
I completed a diagnostic call on a Trane air conditioner. Upon arrival condenser was not operational. I found that the dual capacitor has failed. Replaced capacitor and system kicked on operating normal. Checked amp draws on both compressor and fan both are within range. Checked refrigerant pressures and did find system low on refrigerant. Customer isn't interested in charging system or leak search at this time. System operational at departure.
I installed a Carrier 80% 70,000 BTU Gas Furnace and Carrier 16 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
Diagnostic call on a Lennox air conditioner. Upon arrival checked condenser compressor and found it had failed. The terminals on compressor have blew out and has lost all refrigerant. Provided customer with repairs and replacement options, Customer decided to do a new a/c installation and is all set for Monday installation.
Replaced condenser fan motor capacitor and fan blade in a Rheem air conditioner. Cycled system in cooling and checked refrigerant pressures. All is ok at this time, system operational and cooling at departure.
