I replaced the OEM evaporator coil and checked the pressures. Pressures are within manufacturers specifications and the Carrier heat pump is cooling and operating properly at this time.
I arrived to perform a diagnostic on an air conditioner. Upon arrival customer stated that the a/c has been cooling and it was leaking water. After further diagnostic discovered that the condensation drain line is clogged. Unclogged primary drain line with nitrogen, customer asked to have secondary drain shot with nitrogen also. Checked refrigerant pressures and system is ok on refrigerant. Checked capacitor and it will need replaced in the near future, customer declined. Noticed disconnect box is loose and coming off of wall, made customer aware, does not want to replace disconnect at this time. System operational and cooling at departure.
I performed annual maintenance tune-up & safety check on Carrier Air Conditioning Unit. I completed checklist for tune-up and everything checked out okay. Operating within manufacture specifications at this time. System operational and cooling at my departure.
I performed diagnostic on Payne Air Conditioning Unit. I determined that system was completely empty of refrigerant. I spoke to landlords via phone and we are all set for a/c replacement tomorrow afternoon. Unit not cooling upon departure.
I performed call back install on Five Star 17 SEER 4 Ton Air Conditioner. I determined that the unit has a leak . I completed a bubble leak search. Leak found on discharge line braise joint outside. I scheduled repairs with office. We will return tomorrow afternoon to complete leak repair. System is not operational at this time.
I performed call back service on Carrier 13 SEER 2 Ton Air Conditioning Unit. Upon arrival this service was not required. This in a new installation already schedule for a completed Installation Inspection.
I performed Installation of new Five Star 80% 45,000 BTU Gas Furnace, Five Star 13 SEER 2 Ton Air Conditioning Unit , new Evap coil and removal of previous Trane HVAC system.
I performed diagnostic service call on Bryant Air Conditioning Unit. I determined that there are no current signs of damage due to water. Customers had work done to roof of home and believe it is causing water to enter the HVAC system. I recommended that customers get a Fall Maintenance Tune-Up & Safety Check. System is operating as intended at this time.
I arrived to give an estimate to level area for AC.
I returned to a home that I had recently serviced. Upon arrival found system not operational ( attic system ).. Found no low voltage present to R on t-stat. After further diagnostic discovered that the safety switch on secondary Pan was leaning and causing switch to engage and cut low voltage to R wire. Adjusted and secured float switch on secondary pan and the system kicked on operational normal. System operational and cooling at departure.
Client requested an estimate to replace a Bryant gas furnace and air conditioner. I recommend replacing it with a Carrier 96% Two-Stage 100,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 16 SEER 4 Ton Air Conditioner. Included in the estimate is a 1 year free service maintenance agreement.
I arrived to a diagnostic service call. Repaired liquid line and added filter drier. Pressure tested to 300 for 25 minutes. Pulled vacuum to 160 with pump and 1121 without pump. Added 6 pounds. Unit is operating ok at this time.
I arrived to perform a call-back service to a home I had recently been out to that was experiencing the same issues as before. Upon arrival system was not operational. Noticed led light on circuit board was off, took blower door off and noticed the door switch was not engaged fully and not sending voltage through. Checked 3amp fuse and it is good. System wasn’t getting 110v due to door switch not engaging. Put a zip tie on door switch to keep issues from happening again. System operational and cooling at departure.

I completed spring tune up on a Carrier air conditioner. I visually inspected the furnace. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Checked voltage and amps. Inspected heat pump. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. Added 1.5LBS of 410-A. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
