Tech came to my house same day and was able to figure out the problem in less than 10 min. He was very curtious to my wife and even spoke kindly to my children. I was very happy with our experience and will definitely call again if I ever need them.
Upon arrival I determined that I could not service the system because it was a manufactured Home.
I completed an installation inspection on a Carrier 80% 45,000 BTU Gas Furnace. Completed installation checklist. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
Burners and Heat exchanger have considerable amount of rust.I preformed combustion on unit all readings came back in range, I checked air stream all okay. does appear to be a small crack in the collector box, see photos. While tech didn’t detect any co, I let customer know of possible co leak from this and damage it is causing to unit. I also let homeowner know to get co detectors for home. System coming on and running as it should other than this.
