I performed diagnostic on York Air Conditioning Unit. I found that transformer has failed and is not sending voltage through. I replaced transformer with customers approval. I found that existing thermostat is bad. I installed new Honeywell T6 to test system. System kicked on normally. Customer requested to have thermostat removed. She stated that she will install Nest thermostat herself. I removed thermostat and shut off 15 amp breaker to furnace. System Not Operational at time of departure.

I performed diagnostic service call on Carrier 13 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioning Unit. I determined that system is low on refrigerant. I gave customer repair/replacement options. Customer will review and get back to us. Unit not cooling at departure.

I performed a diagnostic on a Carrier AC unit. Upon inspection I found a bad capacitor. I discussed options with customer. She opted to replace the system. Set for new installation of a Five Star 16 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner.

Upon arrival to complete a diagnostic call on a Trane air conditioner, customer stated that the system had frozen up a couple of weeks ago and it has been working fine since. Checked refrigerant pressures and they were ok. Checked capacitor it was also good, Checked blower motor and capacitor both are ok within range. Checked air filter and it was also good. Could not find any issues with system at this time. System operational and cooling at departure.

I completed diagnostic call on Atlas Butler Air Conditioner. I determined that capacitor has failed. I replaced capacitor with customers approval. System kicked on. I checked pressures are all okay at this time. The condenser fan motor is not spinning as fast as it should be. I gave customer a quote for fan motor so they can be prepared when it fails. System cooling at departure.

After removing the Lennox gas furnace and Carrier air conditioner, I installed a Carrier 80% 45,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 16 SEER 2 Ton Air Conditioner. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time. Included with the installation is a free 1 year service maintenance agreement.

Upon arrival for service call on 2019 Comfortmaker furnace, customer stated furnace was just blowing cold air. Found furnace locked out on code 3. Found furnace shutting off after 30 seconds when low pressure switch kicked in. Found exhaust not properly sloped and collecting water. Customer had just added insulation under pipe which caused a droop. Removed insulation and advised customer that based on size of furnace and length of run, furnace really needs 3” pipe. Customer is going to hold off on replacing and see how furnace runs and if there are any other issues.
