I performed diagnostic on York Air Conditioning Unit. I found that transformer has failed and is not sending voltage through. I replaced transformer with customers approval. I found that existing thermostat is bad. I installed new Honeywell T6 to test system. System kicked on normally. Customer requested to have thermostat removed. She stated that she will install Nest thermostat herself. I removed thermostat and shut off 15 amp breaker to furnace. System Not Operational at time of departure.
I performed diagnostic service call on Carrier 13 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioning Unit. I determined that system is low on refrigerant. This is causing the unit to freeze up & thaw causing the water to drip/leak down through ceiling. I performed electronic leak search with customers approval. I located leak on top of evaporator coil. I gave customer repair/replacement options. Customer will review and get back to us. Unit not cooling at departure.
I performed a diagnostic on a Carrier AC unit. Upon inspection I found a bad capacitor. I discussed options with customer. She opted to replace the system. Set for new installation of a Five Star 16 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner.
Upon arrival to complete a diagnostic call on a Trane air conditioner, customer stated that the system had frozen up a couple of weeks ago and it has been working fine since. Checked refrigerant pressures and they were ok. Checked capacitor it was also good, Checked blower motor and capacitor both are ok within range. Checked air filter and it was also good. Could not find any issues with system at this time. System operational and cooling at departure.
I performed a diagnostic on Carrier Air Conditioning Unit. I found the gas company had red tag the furnace and shut gas off. I performed electronic gas leak search and also bubble test. I located gas leaks on orfices. Gas valve has failed and is letting gas through with no call for heat. I provided customer with repair and replacement options. He will review and get back with us. Gas is shut off to furnace at time of my departure.
I completed diagnostic call on Atlas Butler Air Conditioner. I determined that capacitor has failed. I replaced capacitor with customers approval. System kicked on. I checked pressures are all okay at this time. The condenser fan motor is not spinning as fast as it should be. I gave customer a quote for fan motor so they can be prepared when it fails. System cooling at departure.
I performed diagnostic service on York Air Conditioning Unit. I determined that that the system is low on refrigerant and also tested dual capacitor and it is reading low and will need replaced in the near future, also the condenser coil was extremely dirty and rinsed off and cleaned. I informed owner of leak and explained about leak search/repairs /replacement options. He wants to charge the system for today and hope it lasts this season. He will look into replacement next season. System operational and cooling at departure.
After removing the Lennox gas furnace and Carrier air conditioner, I installed a Carrier 80% 45,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 16 SEER 2 Ton Air Conditioner. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time. Included with the installation is a free 1 year service maintenance agreement.

I completed a diagnostic and replaced a compressor motor surge capacitor. System operational upon departure.
Upon arrival for service call on 2019 Comfortmaker furnace, customer stated furnace was just blowing cold air. Found furnace locked out on code 3. Found furnace shutting off after 30 seconds when low pressure switch kicked in. Found exhaust not properly sloped and collecting water. Customer had just added insulation under pipe which caused a droop. Removed insulation and advised customer that based on size of furnace and length of run, furnace really needs 3” pipe. Customer is going to hold off on replacing and see how furnace runs and if there are any other issues.
Upon arrival for service call on 2009 Nordyne furnace, furnace was not operational showing led code. Green on red off which does not exist on furnace diagnostic tag. Inducer does come on and pressure switches do close, circuit board has failed and needs to be replaced. After board is replaced and furnace goes through heat cycle then we can check the rest of the components to make sure all is ok. Contacted landlord about repairs and he stated that he would get back with us if he wants to move forward with repairs. Furnace not operational at departure.

I provided customer with an estimate for a Carrier "Infinity Series" Variable Speed 3 Ton Electric Furnace and a Carrier "Infinity Series" 18 SEER Variable-Speed 2.5 Ton Heat Pump to replace their 1993 York HVAC systems. Customer going through with install.
