I provided customer Estimate for Carrier 96% Two-Stage 80,000 BTU Gas Furnace, Carrier 13 SEER 3.5 Ton Air Conditioner, new Evap coil, and removal of previous Rheem HVAC system.
I completed diagnostic on Goodman Air Conditioner. I determined that condenser fan motor has failed. Unit needs new motor and blade replacement. System will need pressures and refrigerant to be checked once motor is replaced. Provided customer with repair and replacement options. She will get back to us once she has time to consider her options.
Upon arrival for service call on 2001 Rheem furnace, customer stated the blower motor is not turning on. Blower motor was in fact running however blower motor capacitor was out of spec. Furnace is a diesel fuel powered furnace from 1984 customer plans on re-selling the house. Customer just plans to replace for HVAC system before selling system was operating and blowing heat upon departure.
I met with client to get specifications for an estimate to replace a gas furnace.
Power switch to system was off, I flipped switch to display on and off properly per customers request. Everything came on fine after turning switch on.
Upon arrival found condenser nonoperational and covered in English ivy. Removed some of the ivy to get pressures. Found no refrigerant. Recommend replacement due to age and condition. Customer declined at this time.
I replaced the Compressor-Motor Surge Capacitor and added 1 pound of Refrigerant R-22 Freon into a 2004 Bryant Air Conditioner
Upon arrival I found a duel fuel system. The customer replaced batteries in stat, advised to kill power to equipment before changing batteries. I found heat pump and propane furnace running simultaneously. I re programmed remote sensor stat.
Upon arrival I Replaced the capacitor for a Bryant furnace.
Found Lennox unit not cooling. Technician replaced Multi-tap capacitor and ceaned out condenser coil with hose
